About FixASB

What is FixASB?
FixASB helps communities capture structured, privacy-conscious evidence about recurring issues in shared public spaces - parks, streets, bus stops, and other public areas. It creates a platform for others to add calm corroboration and support for the authorities to take action.
Why should I use FixASB?
FixASB allows you to create a shareable record of ongoing persistent anti-social behaviour. It allows others to add their own experience and support for action. It helps build momentum to take action and we automatically follow-up to track whether the authorities are resolving issues in the public realm.
Who is behind FixASB?
FixASB is powered by SafetyScore, a public platform to capture and analyse information on public safety.

What to report

Is this for emergencies?
No. This service is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999.
Does this replace police, council or other formal reporting?
No. This platform does not replace formal reporting mechanisms. It supplements existing routes, by allowing others to add calm corroboration. It helps build momentum to take action.
Why should I continue to report the issue to the authorities?
FixASB helps make an issue visible and allows others affected by it to stand with you. But it doesn't replace reporting incidents to the police, council or other responsible authority - at least not yet. Reporting incidents through official channels is important because it creates a formal record, helps the authorities understand what is happening, and gives them the information they need to assess and respond to individual incidents. Using FixASB is important for a different reason. It helps build a clearer picture of persistent problems in particular places - showing how long they have continued, how often they happen, and how many people are affected. It also gives others who experience the same problem a way to add their voice, helping demonstrate the true scale and impact of an issue. Together, official reports and FixASB can provide a much fuller picture of what's happening.
Won't reporting impact my house price?
Anti-social behaviour has been proven in studies to impact house prices. The best course of action is therefore to work to get it tackled - including by reporting incidents to the authorities and using FixASB. What is certain to impact house prices is doing nothing and allowing crime and disorder in a neighbourhood to rise unchecked.
What shouldn't I report here?
FixASB is for recurring anti-social behaviour in shared public spaces - parks, streets, transport stops, and similar. It is not for emergencies, behaviour inside a private home, domestic situations, or personal disputes aimed at a specific individual. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
Can I name individuals in a report?
Do not name or identify private individuals on public issue pages. You may provide identifying details (for example names, descriptions, or vehicle details) only through the private fields intended for authorised organisations. Those details are encrypted and are not published.

Public issue pages

Why do you create public issue pages?
Public issue pages enable calm corroboration and help everyone understand the true scale of impact, while maximising the opportunity for evidence capture and effective resolution. They also create a whole new level of transparency and accountability in relation to performance in tackling anti-social behaviour in a locality.
What happens after I submit a report?
You are required to confirm your email address and you will receive a shareable link to your experience for sharing with others. Relevant authorities may be notified and provided with secure access allowing them to provide updates and make contact with individuals who have consented to be contacted.

Privacy and data

What happens to any data I submit?
FixASB will never sell your data to third parties. It is stored securely and is not shared with anyone other than the relevant authorities if you have consented to be contacted. Your personal data is encrypted and not shown publicly.
